   In life we always have many curveballs thrown at us. Most of those curveballs will either break us down or humble us. One of the biggest reasons why people never achieve a dream is because they simply give up. Life totally is not meant to be a cake walk. We go through high and low points.
   The big...gest struggle is something that seems so close but yet feels oh so long. During this time how do you seize on? My best advice is this....At any point when you feel the downfall don't be afraid to SEEK HELP! Face it NO ONE LIKES TO ASK FOR HELP! But guess what? Sometimes reaching out to someone in a time of need is the greatest thing we can do. We are not meant to walk this earth alone! I encourage each person to seek out those divine moments when you can seek knowledge from someone else in your life which will allow you to go farther!

  Hi everyone my name is Amber Sekreta and I wanted to take the time to share with you my experience with attending Pacific Health Care Training.
Ever since I was young I always wanted to help people, however I was never sure in what way to be exact.    In 2005 I moved up to Medford Oregon from the Salinas California area. One thing I noticed was the fact that we had alot of medical facilities and retirement communities. My mind began to image myself in the medical field.
 Once high school hit I was in search of trying to get job experience by volunteering. So I chose to go down to at the time Rogue Valley Medical Center in 2008 at the age of 15 and put in a volunteer application. From that point on is when I knew I wanted to be in the medical field. From 2008-2012 I spent time every Friday volunteering in the Emergency Room. So much I got to see and I kept wanting more. With my now interest in Emergency Medicine that got me wondering what occurs on an Ambulance. So from 2010-2011 I chose to join the Mercy Flights Explorer Post 131 to find out what it was like. With joining the post this allowed me to go on several ride alongs with crews out in the field. Along with doing that as a post we had the chance to serve as medical staff at many boy scout events.
  When graduating in 2011 from Cascade Christian High School I began to take classes at my local community college along with doing babysitting/care giving work.
  Now to flash two years later. In march of 2013 I was looking on craigslist in search of new employment when I saw a post from Pacific Health Care. I called and spoke with Joan Eberling to find out more info.    Later that week I attended an orientation and signed up to take the June CNA 1 class.
In the summer of 2013 I completed the CNA 1 program and the CNA 2 program. I had the best experiencing doing both. What made it so easy was the fact that I had several instructors who I was able to gain information and support from.Along with that I have now made so many new friends by doing both programs. I would have to say probably the hardest thing was the amount of homework that was given to us. When I was so tired all I wanted to do was sleep, but I knew I had a goal in mind. Now I am working as a CNA 2 and as a night time manager at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center Cheney Family Place.

Pacific Health Care training opened its doors in April 2013! Located in beautiful Central Point Oregon, the school is lucky to be in an area with a growing demand for trained medical professionals. With a growing demand for trained health care professionals the school offers CNA 1 and CNA 2 training. These programs are accredited with the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
